Just like most movements, except bowel movements, there always seems to be personality worship involved.
The attacks against many of the big libertarian personalities is because people worship those personalities as some sort of great profit or deity.
None of them are. Not a one can snap their fingers and vanquish government, raise the dead, release the sick from their illness. But any statist that hold power, can grow the government, add to the dead, while promoting sickness, at a snap of a finger.
If we are trying to stay out of statism, then personality worshiping has to be a part of it. Otherwise, it is still more mental enslavement.
